#picturesoflove : Re-creat-action Camping.

Here is another entry of my #picturesoflove series. 
Throughout this semester, i've been joining the Recreation Club at my campus.
So, these are the pictures taken during my co-curricular outing to the 'TRULY DESERTED' forest at . . .err,, frankly i'm not so sure whether it's name is Talang Janggut or Jeram Janggut. HAHA. 
i consider the place as still virgin since it's still hasn't been discovered by many people.
By riding a four wheel drive is the only way to reach to that place. Plus, there's no bathroom, not even a toilet bowl built in that area. Thus, anyone who wanted to defecate, i guess they have to dig the ground  somewhere further from their camp site area. Luckily each and every one of us could survive with such inconvenient condition. Well, we only stayed there for 2 days 1 night. ;)

After about an hour of journey from our campus, everyone of us have to get off the vehicles and 'hike' the hilly area together with our backpacks and things. it tooks about another hour of walking. 

As soon as we reached at the area, we built our tents and started cooking for lunch and dinner since the hot sunny day suddenly getting cloudy. We afraid that as if we wait for any longer, it will rains and we might not able to eat since it's pretty hard or nearly impossible to start the campfire using all the wet sticks.

See,, how lovely the area when we first arrived there, and how smoky it turned after we start cooking. heh~ ^_^

However, credits to Faez a.k.a. Ceplos and Aidil coz they put a very high effort to start the bonfire for our group. :)

We shared 2 container of rice for lunch, and another 2 container for dinner, scrambled eggs, canned Chicken Rendang and Sardines. Everything taste so so delicious to us due to the super duper hungry stomach we had. ;)

As expected, the rain fell right after we finished cooking the food. Phew~ After the rain stopped in the evening, it's the time for Group 1 and Group 2(which was my group) members to do the Rock Climbing and Abseiling activities. While the other 5 groups have got to continued the activities the next day because the day was getting dark.

At 9 o'clock that night, each and every one of us were tested on 8 types of different knots. The students were divided into 3 groups of different examiners. Namely Sir Muhadirin, Sir Shahidan, and another one i forgot his name. theehee~ :P

Luckily i've got Sir Shahidan as my examiner. Even thought he shouted so loudly and nagged a lot, but he's kinda funny though. So that i'm not that nervous when i was being examined. However, i was the last candidate who's being tested which was around 11 p.m., so he asked me to explain by myself one by one the name of the knots, the functions, examples of usage, and i have to show how to tie it without any help from others. Unlike the others, they were only tested on either one of the tasks. heh~ but Alhamdulillah, i still managed to get it all correct since i've been seeing the other candidates being tested before that for over 2 hours! :)

The next day, i've been spending most of the time capturing pictures of the nature and my friends. While the other groups completing their tasks of Rock Climbing and Abseiling.

around 2p.m. in the evening we made our way back to our campus.

And that's the end!

Till we meet again, hopefully i'll be gaining a better experience in the next semester's Recreation Club's outing. :)

okay, since i've got a 'plenty' of free time right now, i'd love to share some photos captured just recently when i visited Pahang with my family.

oh ya, FYI, during this whole 2nd semester i had only went back home trice! like seriously? :O

The first time i went back home was during the weekends of first Ramadhan, the second time was during Mid-Semester break which was also the one week holiday of Hari Raya, and this previous weekends was my third time. oh Well, since it was Independence Day on Friday, so i've got the chance to go back home earlier on Thursday evening. 

but unfortunately, at 6.40p.m. then only the transit bus from my campus to Pekan Pilah arrived. -,-"

My friend and i had only boarded the second bus from Pilah  to Seremban around 7.15p.m.! Uhh, with the inconvenient atmosphere of the fully packed bus, i break my fast with two packets of OatKrunch. luckily i always bring along the biscuits where ever i go. if not, i guess i'm no longer exist or might not be able to write this entry right now. heh~

After an hour being in that so called 'sardine-in-the-can' condition, we arrived at Seremban KTM Station. As soon as we reached there, we could almost fainted when seeing tons of people queuing to buy the tickets. like WHATTT??? we rode the KTM at quarter past 9, and i fell asleep all the way in the KTM. I only reached at KL Sentral at half past 10 before i took the LRT to Melati Station. Pheww~ i reached home at 11 over o'clock AT NIGHT! :OOO Seriously, i didn't expect it would took me this long to reach home.

oh, Since the next particular day was the Independence Day, so the operation time for all those trains were extended to 12a.m. HAHA~ Know what, when i was still on my way in the KTM, i was  afraid that i'd stuck in KL Sentral if there's no more LRT operating after 10p.m. xD

Wheee~ As soon as i've arrived at home, i had a plate of rice with Ayam Perchik for 'dinner'!! Yummeyyyhh~ ;)

this is one of the reasons i love being at home, full of ♥ and FOOD! :D 

The next day on the 31st August, was the day we started our journey to Pahang. :)) 

we stayed  for 2 nights there by using my mum's vacation club's coupons.

Kaching~Kaching~ money saved! ;)

 okay, i'd highly recommend this 3 layer tea!! so so tasty! :DDD

 but it's a NO for this one! i ordered this plate of Kuey Tiaw Kung Fu [which didn't look like one at all] somewhere nearby Pantai Teluk Chempedak. it's tasteless! i can't believe that even the cafe in my campus could made a better taste 'Kuey Tiaw Kung Fu' than this one. HAHA.

party in the USA!! [part 1]

awhh~ finally i have plenty of time to made an entry about my trip to the USA as i promised earlier in my previous entry,, yeahh~

okay, the story of my journey began on the 28th of May 2011,,which is the day after i left UiTM Kuala Pilah,,

our boarding time was at 2.45pm,,the flight number was MH 094 and seat number 31G.

too specific? yeaah,, you're right,, i'm refering to my body pass right now. LOL!

7.50p.m on the same day - we were in transit at Taipei airport,,at this time, i had the opportunity to replying my status comments on FB using my sister's ipad. :P

an hour later, we boarded the same plane,, i fell asleep right after having my dinner. *tak tahu lah pahal mengantuk sangat,,

at 2a.m (Malaysia time) suddently i woke up from sleep and feel uncomfortable and nauseous,,

then i thrown up everything i've ate on the plane,,the lunch and dinner. gahahaa~

*seriously! i never thrown up on plane before this. :(

at 6a.m.(Malaysia time),,they served heavy meals,, again! because of i was still not feeling well, so i refused to eat,,

at 8.40a.m.,29th May 2011 (Malaysia time) / 5.40 p.m, 28th May 2011 (LA time) ~ finally we arrived at Los Angeles LAX airport.
okayyy! sangat laparrr~ i almost gastric. :O luckily i've got few packs of biscuits in my bagpack. :D

unfortunately,,my brother will be joining us on the 3rd day we at LA because he got some sports tournaments if i'm not mistaken,,

so, we have no so called 'tour guide' to guide us how to get to our hotel that we've booked before,,

thus, we have been cheated by the driver who asked us to pay him quite a lot of money,,

we reached at the Homestead Studio Suites Hotel,El Segundo at dusk,,

after Maghrib,we went out for a walk to enjoy the night air in LA.

OMG! it was freezing cold outside!! after passing through few blocks, like the Ralph's Pharmacy Store,Starbucks,the Hewlett Packard building,,then we couldn't withstand the cold anymore and immediately get into the Walgreens Pharmacy store,,

ohh,,don't get it wrong with the word 'pharmacy',,it doesn't mean that they sell medicines,,but they're kinda like a larger version of 7E.

wheeee~ i bought a toy for Faheem there! :D

we went back to our hotel and stopped a few times to snap some pictures with the flowers along the streets,,

29th May 2011 (LA time)
pheww~ the next morning we ate bread with peanut butter and Campbell's mushrooms soup that brought from Malaysia, for breakfast!

*no wonder the luggages were quite heavy! LOL!

after having breakfast, my sis,her husband,and my cousin walked up to the nearest 'rent a car'.

but i don't think it was near, coz they only get there after an hour walk. huhu.

at the same time,, me, my mum, dad, and my aunty went to the Ralph's which was just few steps away from our doorstep. :))

my aunty bought quite a lot of groceries,,cabbage, baby carrots, mayonnaise, salmon fish, and even boxes of flavoured rice!

*kalau dah melayu tuu,,pergi mana pun cari nasi jugak. ;)

right after we went back,, my father 'samak' all the pans,pots and plates provided at the kitchen,,then only we started to cook all those stuffs that we bought at Ralph's!

and yeahh,, we ate Spanish rice with curry fish, and coleslaw for lunch! ;DDD

the Spanish rice tastes sooo sooo yummyyy! woot~woot~

after lunch, with the two cars we rented before, and a GPS,, we decided to go to the Walmart!

but then,,we reached at the...SAM'S CLUB??? but the people there told us that sam's club is owned and operated by the Walmart,,

so we get in and my dad bought some Izod shirts,, but when we get to the counter to pay,,we were told that only members of sam's club could shop there. duhh~

hampeh! but luckily one of the workers there lend us his membership card. :]

next we went around the Beverly Hills area, took some pictures at Hotel California, then sesat here and there,,till night, and went back to the hotel.

30th May 2011.

the next day, after having breakfast,,again! we went to Beverly Hills,, my mum wanted so much to see the houses and sceneries during day time,,

to avoid from getting lost again this time, we bought a map from a lady who claimed herself to be the granddaughter of marilyn monroe!! duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~ -,-"

plus at first she said the price of the map was $40! but then we got the map with the price of $10.

pheww~ but still! the price is so unreasonable! we could get a free map at Hollywood whattt,, =,="

 *dah macam rumah dalam cerita hindustan je,,

after that, we visited the King Fahad mosque in Culver City,,but the doors was locked,,

then there's a man salaam us,,then talked to us in Bahasa,,but the slang sounds like Indonesian.
actually he's not Indonesian,,but he's Arabian who lived in Indonesia for few years.

he's the one who told us that the mosque only open during prayer time.
so we left after capturing few pictures in front of the mosque,,
but what catches our eyes was the building in front of the mosque, across the road,,
it stated that "WE BUY GUNS" lol!
and one more thing was the signboard at the mosque stated "PARKING LOT FULL",,but the parking lot was empty instead. :0

fuhhh~fuhhh~ i'm 'semput' already,,
i believe that you readers also do the same,,
so maybe i'll continue the story in the next entry.

hmm,, ya i know,, it has been such a longgggg time i haven't posted any news here through my talkative keyboard right?

okay,, lots of things i've gone through back in these 7 WEEKS!

so i guess,,this entry would be quite longgggg. theeeeehe~ :P

erm, as many people had known,, most of the 2010's SPM leavers had pursued their studies in universities, matriculations, pre-u, private colleges, preparation program for overseas universites, and so on since June.

well, so do i,,

from the two government's higher instituition that i've been offered for, which were the UiTM Beting, Kuala Pilah and the Kolej Matrikulasi Perlis,,

 i've decided to go for the UiTM di hatiku~

therefore, i went to Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan on the 21st of May 2011 which was the registration day for all UiTM branches all over Malaysia.

and thus, i've gone through the "Minggu Destini Siswa" program which was the orientation week for the university.

yea frankly, i did enjoy the orientation week so much!

even though it was quite a tiring week,

well,, ya know like we have to wake up early in the dawn at 4 a.m. everyday, then perform the Subuh Prayer together at the 'Pusat Islam' a.k.a. mosque, and then listen to the 'Kuliah Subuh',,after that queue up in front of the 'Anjung Makan' a.k.a. the cafeteria to have breakfast, then walk up to the lecture theater to listen to the briefings and talks by the academic affairs,student affairs,'Pembantu Mahasiswa' a.k.a PMs, and etc. throughout the day.

and know what,,at 12 midnight only then all of us were allowed to go back to our own residential colleges. :O

however, the fully packed schedule that has been planned for us has caused our friendship among the housemates became very very close!

ohh ya,, i've forgot to tell ya bout my housemates,, ;)

okay, it's SEVEN of us,,

the one that i ♥ so much,, Erniee Natasha Zainuddin a.k.a. Anne, Fatin Nabila a.k.a. Bella, Siti Fatimah Mohd Taha a.k.a Fath, Shamimi Azizan a.k.a Mimie, Musliha a.k.a. Iha, and Izzati a.k.a Izz.

basically we were living in a kind of 'apartment' which has 3 bedrooms, one livingroom a.k.a. RT, one bathroom, and 2 toilets. :)))

okayy, our resident was at the college Seri Menanti 5, at level 5 yaww!

 the highest level! pheww~ :P

nevertheless, i have to leave them after the end of the orientation week. (T_T)

this is because, i've got to go to USA for visiting my brother who have graduated recently and at the same time for a vacation.

i couldn't canceled the trip because my flight tickets will be considered 'burned' if i do so,,

the tickets has been bought since last year i guess,,
hmm,, at that time, my family and i thought that the students intake for all universities would be on September,, but it was in the end of May instead! :'(

so i need to send the leave application letter to the academic affair's office a.k.a. the HEA within the MDS.

i've already told my housemates about this dilemma of mine on the third night i stayed in kuala pilah with them,,

and Anne was the one who's very willing to accompany me every time i need to go to the HEA office.

i feel very sorry for her,,

because of me, she has to rush from the lecture theater to HEA then to college and then back to HEA with me most of the time,,

she did secrifies for me a lotsss,, even though we've known each other only for few days.

i felt very guilty when she slept on my shoulder, on my laps, and even on my back which shown that she's super TIRED,,sobs~

ouppsy,, no worries! during the talks, it's common to see most of the students fell asleep. ;)

other than Anne, i also met another good friend during the MDS, named Sakinah. :)

like the way her name means ; 'tenang' ,,she's such a calm person,,

she took dip. in science, and she came from Johore, exactly the same like Anne!

she was also accompanied me to the HEA office once.

one thing that i can't forgot while with her is the evening that we spent together and shared the stories about our life,,

and eventually she told me that she think i'm such a HUMBLE PERSON!

omg! i think she's the one who's more humble than me,,

besides that, i also met a girl named Sajidah.

she's very soft spoken and also took dip. in science as well,,like the other two girls i told before. ;)

but this one is not from Johor, but she's from Kajang if i'm not mistaken.

another girl that i ♥ her personalities so much is Farah,,

i still remember the first time i met her was at the mosque during the Isya' Prayer.

we greet each other, then i asked her what course she will be taking,,

then she told me that she took dip. in food technology.

so excitedly i told her that "omg! food tech is what i wanted so much! but i get business study instead. :("

then she said i should appeal to change the course and pray to Allah,,then insyaallah i'll get what i wanted. :)

what she said is very wise and heartwarming. ;)

she was also presented a tazkirah at Anjung atas during Maghrib prayer few days after that.
she told us story about two person,one is a Muslim who's very poor and another one is a Non-Muslim who's very rich.

subahanallah, she's so beautiful inside and outside.

i personally adored her so much,,and i wish i could be like her one day. amin.

ohh ya,,she said that previously she was studying at MRSM Kepala Batas.

and she know a friend of mine, Farahin who was also studied there. ;D

okayy,, back to the main story about my leave application,,

finally on the Thursday, the HEA department have their result,,

they didn't allowed me to take the 2 weeks leave because of that i'll miss many things within the 2 weeks.

yet, they asked me to apply for the whole ONE SEMESTER leave instead, to ensure that i'll not miss anything! -,-"

OMG! WHATTTT? one SEMESTER??

when the HEA officer told me that, automatically i felt like crying  in front of her. :/

so i told my mum about the news through the phone that night at 12.30 a.m immediately after we get back to our residential college.
and my mum advised me to take the leave.

she said that it's better to let the UiTM fees 'burnt' rather than the flight tickets 'burnt' right?

then i cried.

okay,so i sent the application form half-heartedly the next day,, and the application was approved the next following day.

urmm,,one of the most touchy part for me was the speech delivered by our honourable Vice Cansellor the night before i left Kuala Pilah.

he told us the story about the challenges he has faced during youth which was very very sad.
i imagined myself to be in his shoes,,and at the same time i can't keep my mind off the fact that i'll left UiTM for one semester the next day..

seriously i can't stop my tears from streaming down to my cheeks at that moment!

sobs~ sobs~

so the last day i'll be leaving Kuala Pilah in May 2011 had finally came...

 it was the 'hari penutup MDS',,

we should wear dark colour tudung(scarf), white baju(dress), with a dark colour kain(skirt).

so i wear my form 4's schl uniform for the baju, and my form 5's uniform for the 'kain' which is brown in colour. because i used to be a librarian in form 5.
(the colour of my schl's librarian's kain is brown)

however,,only me wearing the brown colour tudung and kain,, the others was wearing black colour instead.

OMG! i felt like an ALIEN that day for being so 'stand out'. :0

i XOXO all of my housemates,,

then i waited my dad to pick me up at Anjung Makan with Izzani, Yanie, and Muzil (my former schoolmates),,

and my handphone's strap that i made by myself had broken,,

the beads fallen everywhere on the floor and i couldn't pick it back,,

perhaps it represented how my heart has been broken and left there.

*okay,FATIN,,why so jiwanggg??!! =,="

okay, for the stories about my journeys to US, i think i'll share about it later on, in another entry.
