Recipe : Unbaked Oreo Cheese Cake :)

السّلام عليكم
PEACE be upon YOU! ;)
Since a friend of mine, Ayu seems to be interested to do the unbake recipes, here i would like to share the only unbake cake recipe that i've tried so far. It was an Oreo Cheese Cake! It tastes good, easy to made, and nice for college students who've got refrigerator in their rent house. :) So here is the recipe:

INGREDIENTS #part 1 :
  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie + Marie cookie crumbs *depending on the thickness of the crust you prefer
  • 1  tsp Brown Sugar
  • 50g butter *melted
METHODS #part 1 :
1. Crush the cookies in a sealed bag using your rolling pin. *i was using the pestle instead.
2. Pour in the crushed cookies and the brown sugar into the container together with the melted butter.
3. Rub them until they clump together and have the texture of damp sand.
4. Press the mixture onto the base of the container and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
this is the result >>>

INGREDIENTS #part 2 :
  • 250 g Cream Cheese, softened
  • 80ml Fresh Milk

  • Oreo cookies' cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies *depending on the amount you prefer.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • a few pieces of uncrushed Oreos.
METHODS #part 2 :
1. For the filling, cream the cream cheese, milk, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth.
2. Pour in whipped cream and continue mixing until mixtured is thoroughly mixed and creamy.
3. Finally mix in the Oreo cookie's cream and also the crushed Oreos into the cheese mixture then pour them on top of the crust that we prepared earlier.
4. Garnish it by arranging the remaining Oreo cookies on top of it.
5. Refrigerate and voila! here's the result! >>>

PEACE be upon YOU! ;)
Wheee~ Last Thursday, i accompany my friend Ayu Dafitri to our former secondary school to meet our beloved former class teacher, cikgu Latifah Hamid. Ayu told me that she was quite jealous reading my previous blog entry about the gathering that my classmates and i have held on the teacher's day last week. Last week, she couldn't join us because she's still at Perak facing her final exams at UniKL. So, now only she could come to school and freshen up all the sweet memories there, and meet the teachers as well. ;) We bumped into quite a number of teachers; cikgu Zarina, ustazah Nazifah, cikgu Normawati, cikgu Azerin, cikgu Aminah, my library teacher; Teacher Norita and of course cikgu Latifah! umm, that was after we took our SPM certificate at the office.

We spent our time for a while at the library, [the place where i spent most of my time back then as a librarian] :') Teacher Norita also had a short chat with us, she motivated us, asking about our current life, my family, and stuffs and also sharing with us about her cute lil kids. :D after that we met cikgu Latifah, she was about to 'belanja' us for the lunch, AGAIN! but we denied since she's still got class to enter until 1 o'clock. We have got to buy a few things at OTK, Thus, we immediately made our way to OTK. but unfortunately, we were totally forget to took some pictures with the teachers at school. how sad. :(
*at the bus stop near school also can :P

At OTK, Ayu bought some fish, chickens, and some ingredients to made triffle. While i only bought an orange coloured board, colourful sticky note strips, and body scrubber sponge.haha.perlu ke cerita? i bought the board to made it as my so called memo board at college on this coming semester. since i've got the living room or a.k.a. 'RT', instead of the bedrooms. so that i won't get any supply of white board, study lamp and stuffs. that's why i have to made my own initiative to bring along mine. (T_T)

After that we had our lunch at KFC. We wanted to try out the limited time menu, 'Pokkits'. but the meal was so frustrating me!! the advertisement shows the price of ala carte Pokkits is RM2.60. while the combo set is RM5.50. i ordered for the combo, but since i changed the soft drinks to lipton iced lemon tea, so i've got to add RM1.50 to the price of the combo set menu, making the total price of the TINY pokkits and A MEDIUM CUP of drink cost RM7 not yet include the government tax. duhhh~ i felt like i've been cheated by KFC for the hundreds of times. well, all of the KFC's meals are always small and the pricing are always unreasonable! it would be better if i bought Mcd Chicken foldover, it cost RM9.95 which include the drinks and french fries! Plus, it has a bigger portion of meal. Unlike this 'pokkits' thinggy! even my wallet is bigger than it. heh~
Ayu complained about the Pokkits as well. According to her, the wrap doesn't taste good coz it's neither soft nor crispy at all. and the combination of the saltiness of the grated cheese and the sweet-and-sour-ness of the manggo sauce is a very terrible combination!
it seems like my iced lemon tea which cost me about RM4.50 is way too 'valuable' compared to my pokkits which costs RM2.60! and even a bottle of Twister. LOL!

Oh! not to forget,, the day before on Wednesday, i went for an outing with other friends, which were Nurizzani and Abdul Muzil. When we were having our lunch at Subway in Times Square, something funny happened. This friend of mine, Muzil somehow was having so called 'dilemma' with his food when he excidentally dropped the meatball from his sandwich.
See the meatball up here. HAHA. Izzani couldn't say a word when seeing that. xD So we just pretended like nothing has happened and went to surau after finishing our meals. After done the Zohor prayer, we walked to Low Yatt since Izzani was looking for an external hard disk. Actually we wanted to watch the movie 'What to expect when you're expecting' but then, the showtime was quite late. Thus, we cancelled the plan.

At the Low Yatt Plaza, i took the chance to asked this one 'apek' at the Apple store about my ipod touch. Earlier that morning, after i woke up and was about to check the time, suddenly i found out that the screen was blank. The apek told me that to check and fix it would cost me more than RM150. Then i was like, "aiyaa~ sokay la apek. i better buy new one or fix the iphone instead of this 2nd generation ipod". But deep down inside i was quite dissappointed coz this ipod was a gift from my brother back in 2008 for getting straight A's in PMR. :'( Even my brother's ASUS that i've been using at campus back in these 5 months suddenly couldn't functioning and turned blank as well. I don't know why all these happened within this week! haiyaiii~~

At the LowYatt Plaza, i also heard something that i find it funny. When we walked around the mall i heard a guy talked to one seller like this "Aiyoo~ why so mahal??!! got free gift ahh??". That line indeed reminded me so much to the video on Youtube entitled 'Only in Malaysia' which tell us that most people in our country would always ask for FREE GIFT when buying something expensive. HAHA. From the Low yatt, we walked through the Sungei Wang Plaza and dropped by at F.O.S. first to buy basic tshirts, before we walked into the Fahrenheit 88 Mall. Afterwards, we walked along the new 562 meters fully air-conditioned pedestrian bridge; the KLCC-Bukit Bintang Walkway. From the KLCC, we took the LRT back to our home sweet home. Wheee~ we saved some RM kachingg~kachingg~ since we only took the LRT, instead of taking the Monorail as well. :D
here is one of the views inside of the walkway. Sorry, i don't have any 'model' here. Both of my friends were too shy to enter frame. ;)

girls day out at Times Square. :D

PEACE be upon YOU! ;)
Oh, how fast time flies. In a blink of the eyes, the month of May is almost over and it will be leaving us in ten more days! My semester break will eventually end next month. Awwhh~ talking about sem break, somehow my heart telling me that i really miss going back to my univ! :P Basically i don't really miss all the stressful assignments, deadlines, and so on. but i do miss the atmosphere, the routines, and of course my friends there! :D Especially my besties, Nurul Hasanah binti Abd Malek !
ohh ya, hopefully it's not too late for me to share about what i did last 2 weeks. :P On the 9th of May 2012, my bestie and i have had a very great outing together at Berjaya Times Square. whoohoo~ ;) At first, we did asked the other classmates whether they wanted to join us or not. Lyeanna, Zafran, k.Aimi, and Shikin seems interested to come over, but then they've got a few problems which hinder the plan. Thus, only the two of us went there.
Earlier that morning, i kept calling her like millions of times to wake her up. LOL! Like i always did at college, i seems to be her 'alive alarm clock'. Luckily our room was not that far. mine was 5611 and her's 5211, yeah at least it's still at the same 5th floor. :) Waking her up everyday don't really burden me, but somehow she's the one who's getting annoyed with me for waking her up from sleep. HAHAHAAA. xD She's talkative, funny, and really love to read novels, while i'm not that talkative, don't have any sense of humour, blur, and never finished reading any novel other than the novels that i learned at school. Yes, we don't really have so much things in common but we do complement each other. That even strengthen our friendship. ;)
Okay, back to the outing thinggy, we met up at KL Sentral around 11 a.m. but i reached there about half an hour earlier than her. so it's proven that LRT is way faster than KTM :P From KL Sentral, we took Monorail together to Jalan Imbi and so here we're at Berjaya Times Square! We immediately went up to the 5th floor to the Cosmos World Theme Park and get the entry tickets. Luckily it's weekdays. So our tickets cost only RM32 each, cheaper compared to the weekends' pricing. At that time, there were no much people in the park yet. Only the two of us, and another 'mat saleh' family of three. As soon as we get in and kept our bags in the locker, we tried out the DNA Mixer first! And that was the most regretful decision we ever made. HAHA. Well, we were the first rider of it on that morning. and somehow i think that the 'conductor' have set that ride with a longer duration and more extreme of spinning! duhh~ our scarves had almost detached while riding it you know!
Somehow i remember, i had once entered this park in 2006 with the whole of my family. At that time, i was 13 years old but my mum claimed that i was 12 in order to get a 'child' ticket price. LOL! :P Back then, i didn't rode this DNA Mixer because my brother kept frightening me by telling that this ride is so so extreme and i'll surely can't stand it. haha. And now it's proven that yesss it's extreme. but i still can stand it. ;) Hasanah kept screaming out loud while i just kept laughing all the way from the moment the conductor start the machine until the last rotation it made. xD
see her freak out face after riding the DNA mixer. :P

after that, we rode the biggest indoor roller coaster in Asia [if i'm not mistaken] which is the Supersonic Odyssey, and also this Spinning Orbit. As usual, she screamed out loud all the way when we rode the roller coaster. but the Spinning Orbit ride is not that thrilling, however Hasanah was still pretending to be 'afraid' of the ride by screaming like a retard. LOL! Oh, there was one funny incident happened at the Spinning Orbit ride which was that she couldn't sat on the seat by herself. i have to carry her up to the seat since the seat was a little bit high for her height. :P luckily no one was there at the moment she asked me to carry her. :))
drama queens!
Next, we paid RM9 and entered the Haunted Chambers. actually i don't really interested to enter this so called haunted house. but since Hasanah was so excited to enter it, so i  just agreed. layan kan je lah ustazah Salbiah ni. ;) As expected, i didn't afraid of the sound effects, 'ghost', and all the other props that they displayed along the dark chambers that we walked through. i even said hi and asked the name of one of the ghost inside the chamber when he was about to block  our way out. HAHAHA. While my friend screamed loudly with fear, grasped my hand tightly and did not even open her eyes in the haunted chambers she said. :P see her freak out face after get out of the Haunted Chambers.>>
here's the picture of one of the 'ghost' that kept disturbing us while riding the Izzy Dizzy ride. HAHA.>>>
We had also rode the Space Attack ride before we went up to the seventh floor where the 'Fantasy Garden' is located and played a few of the kids rides. LOL! xD At this section, we only tried out the boring Botanic Drive, Fantasy Trail, Buddy Go Round, and Robo Crash! and YEAH! i enjoy the Robo Crash the most! but it's a pity for Hasanah because she couldn't ride her car. maybe it has broke down. hewhew~ so in the middle of the game, she moved into mine. Then she excitedly tell me to hit the other cars. and i intentionally bumped into the cute chinese boy's car. :P *gataii*
before the two of us decided to get out of the park, we rode the Izzy Dizzy ride once again. Just to 'cool down' our dizziness because the ride is so not thrilling. HAHA. but Hasanah AGAIN pretended to be 'afraid' of the ride. she screamed out loud until there were so many visitors gathered at the corridor to see what was happening. LOL! and oh! before we go down the escalator, there was a short guy in uniform approached us and asked whether the Haunted Chamber was scary or not.YES, I could recognized that he was the ghost who i said Hi to earlier according to his height. i'm so sure about it! ;)
After we get out of the park, we went to Old Town to had our lunch after prayed at surau. At first, we wanted to had lunch at the Johnny's but unfortunately it was under construction. :( After finished our lunch, [she don't even finished her's.haha] we walked around the mall. At first, i planned to just window shopping and not buying anything, but then i was the one who bought a shirt first. As soon as i started to buy something, Hasanah has turned out to be a mad shoppaholic lady. xD And then we went for a kareoke first before we made our way back to KL Sentral.
At the KL Sentral, she gave me some souvenirs that she bought for me from Langkawi. it was a couple of penguins figure. And somehow i think that she's refering the left penguin as me because whenever she can't finish her food, i'm the one who always finish them for her. LOL! She said that i look like a penguin! how dare youuu! :P
her sister also gave me a pack of sweets. :)
and therefore we went our splited way to LRT and KTM gates respectively after saying good bye again and again. ;) wheee~ and that's the end! :D

celebrating teacher's day at school!

السّلام عليكم
PEACE be upon YOU! ;)
Last Wednesday, on the 16th May 2012, Muzaireen, Amirah Diana, Niezwan, Sufian, Fikri, Hafiz, Aidil, Qutbi, leman, and I went to our beloved secondary school, SMK Gombak Setia. :D
At first, we [all 5 Sejahtera 2010 students] planned to organize a so called reunion at the Kemensah Heights. So that we could picnicking, barbecuing, etc. Everyone agreed with the plan. but then, after all UiTM, Matriculations, IIUM, and UTP students have had our Semester Break, there were still a few of our classmates at other private universities and colleges doesn't had their sem break yet. Thus, only a few of us attended the event. However, we eventually decided to meet up at school on the Teacher's Day instead of picnicking at the waterfall.
We had set the time to meet up at 11 a.m. , but as expected, Malay Promises a.k.a. 'Janji Melayu' is always fulfilled in a 'timely manner'.HAHAHA. Around 12 noon, we showed up at the school and watched the teachers playing all those typical 'teacher's day games' which was conducted by our classmate, Syarifhidayat, who's still studying there in Upper Form 6. :)

P/S: i'm jealous because when i was still a student of this school, the menu was not this long. and the canteen tender was always under a very bad management. huh~
We waited at the canteen untill the teachers finished participating in all of those activities scheduled. At 2.30 p.m. then only the teachers finished watching the podcast video of speech from the Education Minister if i'm not mistaken. Yet, our patience worth the time consumed. Our former class teacher, Mrs Latifah Hamid kindly gave us quite a big sum of money to buy KFC! muahahaa~ *evil laugh*
Thus, we had KFC as our lunch with this beloved Maths teacher of our class.
Aside from that, i also brought my own homemade Red Velvet Cake. Just like the previous years, i am always given the task to bring a cake during our potluck gathering.
oh ya! i almost forgot to tell that 16th May is Syarifhidayat's and Hafiz Nordin's birthday. Therefore, Mrs Latifah requested for them to cut the cake for her. :D Seeing those two boys cuting the cake indeed reminds me so much to their so called 'surprise' birthday party back in 2008 at Sufian's house which was also organized by me. :')
nothing much changes at Syarif's style, he is still the old 'cute' him. :P but Seeing Hafiz's 'Hard Hair Look' back in those teenage years, almost made me laugh out loud. :DDD
while the cutie little Niezwan in the picture up here is no longer exist. He's now have grown up into a mature guy. ecehh~ :P
okay, back to the teacher's day celebration thinggy, oh ya, Mrs Latifah's daughter, Yasmin Hanani were there too during the celebration. She's waiting for her mum to go back home together. but the funny part was, my friend, Niezwan kept teasing her by pretending to 'seduce' her. :P and then my teacher asked, "so what about Syazana? Where would you put her?" LOL! somehow she still remember the gossips that used to spread in our class back then. ;)
After we finished eating those KFC's chickens, there were still half of my Red Velvet Cake left. So my teacher asked each and everyone of us like. . . "Amirah, do have some more cakes." but everyone refused not to eat some more and pretend to be so full. She eventually said, "Fatin, i'll bring this remaining cake home okay?" :P hambek kau~ kunun ada lah baki untuk mereka bawa pulang ke rumah. xD
Not long after that, she decided to go back home. and thus, we made our way to KL Festival City a.k.a. KLFC to spend some more time together. Since it was quite late, so we decided to just window shopping and not to watch any movie.
but it wasn't just a 'window shopping' for Aidil. He wanted to buy a new pants since Niezwan's Iced Tea had spilled on his white pants that he was wearing. That's why he kept covering up the pants with his hand like this >>>
However, he couldn't find a pair of pants that suits his style and his 'wallet' as well. :P so he end up not buying any new pants. but somehow he bought a sweater instead??? whattafish???!!!
After accompanying Aidil to find a brand new pants for himself, and helping out Hafiz to find a handbag for him to present it to his girlfriend, we went to an arcade. Eryn, Mira,Apiz, and Aidil were so eager playing with the games there. While the rest went to the bookshop. :) one weird fact about most of my boys ex-classmates is, they really love to read love novels. believe it or not? :DDD Eryn sent me home that evening and that's how the day ends. i slept early that night, since i only slept for 2 hours the morning before, after i've finished baking the cake.

The next day, i accompany Firdaus Salim a.k.a Pedot to another so called 'SCHOOL' of mine, the British Council  Institute. He planned to take up a general English course there in order to improve his English before continue studying. He really wanted to persue his studies in Cairo, after i recommended him to watch the Indonesian movie "Ketika Cinta Bertasbih 1&2"!! LOL! Urmm~ Since i used to take up a few classes at BC previously, that's why he asked me to guide him there. Awwwh~ there's no much changes at the British Council. However, those 'cute' looking chinese receptionist are no longer working there. :(

After done at British Council, we went to KLCC to had our lunch. :D I finally ate my favourite mcd Chicken Foldover after almost 4 years[if i'm not mistaken] it was discontinued. Oh, two of our friends, Syuhada and Anis Nadia currently are working at a bakery shop in KLCC. Thus, i called Anis to come over, but she's on off day. and then i called Syuhada Hussin a.k.a Syue too, to come over to the food court since i  brought along 2 slices of the Red Velvet Cake that she craving for recently. So, she came and spent about half an hour with us. She ate one slice of it, and left another one for Pedot. She even tweeted the picture of the cake that i brought for her on Twitter. :P how excited she was!

Hey look! He even bought the novel with the same title with the movie at Kinokuniya that day. How obsessed he is towards that story. :O
we quickly went back home right after that, because i have to babysit my niece Aleena that evening. and that's how the story ends. :D
